The Gulf's Most Powerful Families

A very interesting list has been prepared by the privately owned Gulf investment and merchant banking group, The National Investor (TNI). TNI operates out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. TNI, in a report they prepared called: 'Power Matter: A Survey Of GCC Boards,' analyzed who was on the Board Of Directors of 582 Gulf companies and found that certain Gulf families held up to 30% of company board seats giving these families great power over all business done in the Gulf.

Here are the Gulf families TNI found to be the most powerful.
