By far one of the most successful developers in The Gulf is DAMAC Properties of Dubai. DAMAC was founded in 2002 by its parent company, DAMAC Holding. DAMAC is the largest private Master Developer in the Middle East and the company is run by Hussein Ali Habib Sajwani, Chairman and Peter Riddoch, CEO. DAMAC is a true international company with offices around the world including: UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, United Kingdom, Russia, Ireland and Italy. In DAMAC's own words:

What really impresses me about DAMAC is the huge number of Mega Projects they are developing. Currently DAMAC has over 80 projects in development with more on the way. DAMAC divides their projects into five categories: residential, office, retail, leisure and signature series.
